82-year-old Montana resident Gary Tallman created incredible mosaics of owls by carefully piling firewood atop each other. Rather than sculpting pieces of wood to make out the shapes of his feathered subjects, Tallman chopped the wood as he would normally do and separated them by size and color. Using the natural colors of pine, aspen, cedar and juniper, he was able to "draw" with woodpiles, spending about 20 hours on each piece.
